The Human/Werewolf Congress came into being as an attempt to avoid war between the species.  Second Alpha David agreed to attend the meetings in the city to ease tensions after Alpha River mated with the human representative Josiah on a recent visit to the River Wolf Pack.  David is hoping to calm fears, as well as spend time with his human lover Jax.

There is no doubt that David and Jax are in love, but it hurts the Alpha greatly when his human refuses to entertain the idea of accepting his bite and joining the pack permanently.

While attending another session in the city Alpha David and another wolf are taken hostage by a human member of congress bent on destroying all the packs.  The last time David and Jax were together they fought and said horrible things.  If David is unable to get free Jax will never know how much he was truly loved.  And war will be inevitable.

Second Alpha is a skillful blend of species bigotry balanced against the scorching hot love of two very different individuals.  Tensions run high between the two groups.  The characters are literally sitting on a powder keg with few options of peace.  David and Jax have sexual chemistry in abundance, tolerance not quite so much.   Though Second Alpha continues where the first book left off readers won’t have any trouble following this storyline.  A satisfying, sensual feast to enjoy.

In an effort to calm the discord between the human race in the cities and the werewolf packs of the forest Josiah Kimbrel agrees to spend time with the River Wolf pack.  The human is surprised to witness how civilized and family oriented they actually are, not the rabid beasts most humans believe them to be.

Josiah chooses to ignore the attraction he feels towards Alpha River until something bizarre happens which strips away all pretense of humanity.  All of a sudden Josiah goes into heat and the only one who can control his beast is River.  The only one who can sooth his soul.

Everything is in turmoil now because their ambassador is no longer the human they sent to the pack.  The Congress won’t understand what’s happened nor will they attempt to ever accept Josiah again.  The conflict has suddenly become worse than ever and Josiah is caught in the middle.

Fascinating twists take readers on a wild ride in First Omega.  Emotional highs and lows run rampant in this sensual page turner. First Omega skillfully blends engaging characters dealing with fundament issues of bigotry.  Add to that, scorching hot scenes between Josiah and River light up their romance.  Surprising twists also adds depth to the storyline.  Totally hot and entertaining.

Earth is dying.  The cities are domed to protect the population from the deadly environment, but the power feeding the domes is fading.  A wormhole to another world where habitation is possible is the only answer for survival.  On the 183rd  day after the first wave of settlers were sent through something went wrong.  What, they don’t know.  When the wormhole opens again the settlers are gone.  Even knowing of the danger a second wave is assembled and sent to the place dubbed ‘Alterneath’.

Scientists and specialist of every variety are sent with the second wave. Among the group is geologist Dr. Peter Wagner, a man still grieving for the loss of his husband.  By destiny or fate his husband’s ticket ends up in the hands of John, a criminal who knows Peter from their college days.

What the second wave does find is a young woman who doesn’t speak and can’t explain where she comes from.  Something strange is going on in Alterneath.  Things on Earth are so bad however that it doesn’t matter.  It should matter, it truly should.

An original through and through.  The Second Wave ramps up the tension and the mysteries from the very start.  There is a large cast of characters to keep track of though it’s soon apparent that John and the woman play pivotal roles.  A poignant relationship is the only deep relationship, others love but theirs is the important one.  More of a science fiction story than a romance The Second Wave has heart and lots of mysteries, some are even creepy.

Jason Peters is a young widowed father whose son, Tyler, is a precocious first grader starting a new school in the middle of the term. His new teacher is Greg Boucher, a man near Jason's age who is incredibly attractive. For the first time since his wife's death, Jason finds himself interested in the possibility of a romantic relationship. It seems Greg feels the same. At a parent/teacher conference, Jason admits he's gay, and to his surprise, Greg asks him out on a date. They spend a wonderful evening together, but when morning dawns, Jason realizes things can't move forward between them unless his son is comfortable with the arrangement. Will Tyler understand Jason's interest in his teacher? Or will Jason have to choose between what he wants and what's best for his son?

A new home unfortunately means a new school for seven year old Tyler Peters.  It also means his widowed dad Jason gets to start over explaining his single status to everyone.  Meeting Tyler’s teacher for the first time gives Jason a tingle he thought long gone.  And, luckily for Jason, teacher Greg Boucher seems interested too.

It’s been four years since his wife Lisa died and even more years since he indulged in a gay relationship.  Maybe it is time to start dating and start living honestly with his desires.

The sweet and the sour blend well in Tyler’s Teacher where a new relationship helps to heal a past sorrow.  The lead characters ring true and Tyler doesn’t come across as ‘too cute’.  Jason and Greg definitely begin something special, but there’s very little if any actual, ahem, action.  Tyler’s Teacher is a gentle, new beginning with a lovely cast.
