Tilly Jackson is a barmaid in the West.  Usually content, she sometimes gets a ‘feeling’ and realizes that the time to move on from where she is to another town. She’s getting that feeling now, but something else has caught her eye, or rather someone else…

Leo Samuels can’t believe that someone as lovely as Tilly would want to be with him – which is why he is a bit leery of her request.  But as more time passes, what started out as a brief encounter turns into something more.

First off, Tilly was brave and I adored her.  She wasn’t afraid to go after what she wants and she wanted Leo.  Speaking of Leo, he was a long tall drink of blue eyed water and was sexy with a capital S.  I like how he treated Tilly and I loved that he loved her.

Not a bad novel. I found that some of the typos pulled me out of the story, other than that, In the Hands of an Outlaw wasn’t a bad book – but it could have been a bit more polished.  I think Renee LaRuse is a talented author having read more books from her and I can honestly say that her books are entertaining and quite erotic.  Which are both winners in my book.

Talia was saved and really given her second chance by a sexy young stranger at a time in her teens when she thought life was lost.  She named her savior “Blackie” and kept the gift he gave her at that time.  Several years later, Talia is a reporter for her college paper and is trying to find a way to interview a student who might or might not have been involved in her roommate’s death.  A timely masquerade is her answer and to go with her red hair, she goes as little red riding hood.

Sebastian is home on leave from the Navy and is convinced by his family to participate in the masked party they are having.  He never expected to come across a mysterious and sexy woman dressed as little red riding hood or that their meeting would lead to hot and erotic passion and even more mysteries.  Especially when Sebastian decides to trust her and let her talk to his half-sister about the death that drove her home from college.

That night turns out very complicated with hot erotic passion, the memory of a past rescuer being found again and a budding chance at what could be a romance and relationship that will live with Talia and Sebastian forever – that is if the stars and fates allow them to meet again.

A chance encounter that originally changed Talia’s life happens a second time with the same man in Mister Black.  What are the chances that the same man would just step into Talia’s life twice and that he would have the same effect the second time?  That was my initial response when Talia and Sebastian or rather Scarlet and Mr. Black met at the masquerade several years after their first encounter.  The tension was thick and their encounter became both erotic and red hot while at the same time I could tell that they both understood that those feelings could become much, much more if given the chance.  The relationship was left hanging but in such a way that I just know that Scarlet and Mr. Black will meet up again and it will probably be much steamier the next time.  Mister Black kept me full of suspense from the first meeting through the time they were torn apart once again and talk about steamy and full of tension.  This is a serial that will only go up from here and I can’t wait to see the next time Scarlet and her Mr. Black meet up.

David Rivera is the drummer of the rock band Schoolboy Choir.  He is also known as the “Gentleman of Rock” because of his smooth moves and how he dresses.  Both of these facts mean that women flock to be seen with him, and yet there is only one woman that David wants—Thea.  David believes that he will always long for the one woman he can’t have after being so strongly struck down the one time he got the nerve to ask Thea out.  But just recently, he was given what might be the key to not only getting Thea’s attention but maybe a way into her heart.  Thus is the beginning of his romance via proper memos via email while on a tour.

Thea Arsana is the publicist for many high profile acts, and she has worked hard to be one of the top entertainment publicists.  But when David asked her out, that set-down had been the hardest she had ever done because everything about David cried out to her.  Past disappointments have put Thea off any form of romance and dating, thinking it is better to be lonely than broken-hearted once again, and she is truthfully scared to put her heart and emotions out there.  However, from the moment she opens up the first memo sent by David, Thea knows this struggle has just begun.  David has found the one thing to romance that Thea is hopeless to ignore—her head and intelligence.  So, of course, after re-reading the formal memo, Thea must answer with her counter arguments.  Thus starts the other half of the romance via email while her heart melts as the memos get hotter and hotter.

Take a sexy publicist set against romance and add in a determined rock star drummer known as a gentleman and toss in several emailed memos laying down the reasons for and against their romance and you have Rock Courtship.  I absolutely loved the courtship between David and Thea and couldn’t believe just how hot formal memos could be.  I could understand why Thea was afraid to risk any type of romance once her backstory came out.  David, I found irresistible in how he knew that Thea was the one for him and set out to show her just why, even in such a unique way.  I really enjoyed watching as their courtship got so deep and personal while they were miles away from each other and how fast the heat rose once they came face to face.  I was so happy that when Thea’s one fear seemed to occur, she and David found a way to discover the truth and actually deepen their love for each other.  I will never be able to look at a memo the same way again after seeing the many uses they can be put towards.  Rock Courtship is simply an outstanding story of a unique romance in the modern world of the Internet and emails in the sometimes harsh world of rock and roll.

Dragos Cuelebre is no longer the only dragon.Dragos's son Liam Cuelebre (a.k.a. Peanut) is springing into existence, reminiscent of the first of the Elder Races who were born at the beginning of the world. At just six months of age, he has already grown to the size of a large five-year-old boy. He can read, write in complete sentences, and his math skills are off the chart.A white dragon in his Wyr form, Liam also holds more Power than almost anyone else. In an effort to give him a taste of normality, no matter how fleeting, his parents Pia and Dragos enroll him in first grade. They hope school will help teach Liam how to relate to others, a vital skill that will help him control his growing Power. But school has a surprising number of pitfalls, and relating to others can be a tricky business. When a classmate is threatened, Liam must quickly learn self-control, how to rein in his instincts, and govern his temper, because there's no doubt about it--he is fast becoming one of the most dangerous creatures in all of the Elder Races.

Liam Cuelebre (better known as Peanut) is growing up by leaps and bounds and he may only be a few months old but he is the size of a 5 year old and just as curious and mischievous as any other child that age.  His father is the most powerful man in world and his mother might not seem as powerful, but Liam knows she would move mountains to keep him safe.  But none of that is on his mind right now, Liam has a huge adventure because he is going to school – first grade to be exact.  Liam knows that he is also powerful, even as young as he is, yet he knows that he needs to takes these next steps as just a very intelligent young boy and he really attempts to do that.

However, it seems that the gods are testing him to see just how together Liam is this young because he faces several hardships his very first day.  The biggest lesson that Liam learns in the next few hours is that bullies can come in several sizes, guises and ages.  He also learns that there are some battles he can handle and then there are some he needs to bring his big gun back up – his parents.  Liam also learns several other things in a few short hours and most of all he learns just how much his parents love him and what they will do to protect him.

Power comes in many forms and one little guy just might become the most powerful being around, well if you don’t count his father, and just like everyone who enters life as a child he has many lessons to learn.  Liam begins his journey to learn all of those lessons in Peanut Goes to School.  I have to say that I fell in love with Liam when he was still becoming a being and that love has only grown as I have seen Liam deal with so many things at such a young age.  This time I watch as Liam learned just what bullies are and that they can come in so many shapes and sizes.  I cheered as Liam proved his dominance to some and knew just when he needed to call for his back up.  And I don’t mean Dragos, I’m talking about Pia here.  Liam also had me smiling because I can see that he is going to be one heck of a handful for not only his parents, but also those who are trying to protect him and let’s not even get into the parents of any of the girls that he will charm.  Peanut Goes to School is a lovely adventure that will have you wanting to just hug Liam to pieces and fist bump his parents on a job well done.

JoyfullyRecommendedMolly Webster grew up having to face a very ugly and very public scandal.  That experience has never left Molly and she lives her life doing her best to stay far, far out of the lime light.  But when your newly discovered half-sister is a publicist for one of the hottest international rock bands, it becomes hard.  When Molly and her best friend decided to attend one of the parties for Schoolboy Choir, Molly thought she could enjoy her night and stay out of the media spotlight.  That was before she had her first up close look at Fox and his sexy lip ring, the lead singer of Schoolboy Choir.

Zachary Fox is a serious hard rocking bad boy but once you have his friendship, he is also the most protective man around to those he chooses to be his family.  Fox, like all of the other band members, knows that the media, publicity and access to the band members is part of the gig.  Fox felt lust the instant he saw Molly but he couldn’t get close enough to see if she felt the same way as the party went on.  So when he saw Molly leaving, Fox made his move that ended with one hot night’s passion for both Fox and Molly.

Molly agreed to one night with Fox, sure that would be enough to cool her lust for Fox and still keep her out of the limelight.  But when Molly learns that the band is staying in New Zealand for an extended period it takes steely nerves from Molly and determination from Fox to extend their night into a month of passion.  Fox thought it was just skittishness on Molly’s part on why she wanted/needed to stay in the background – that was before he learned the truth about her past.  Now Fox knows just what type of a battle he will have on his hands if he wants to keep Molly in his life and that is ALL Fox wants – Molly forever.  A rock and roll lifestyle is a rocky road with lots of pitfalls along the way, but it’s a journey that Fox and Molly travel together facing each hurdle as a team and learning just how together they can conquer anything.  But as the media and fans learn about Molly will that trust and love be enough to overcome Molly’s fear of the media?

Passion proves that even a media stung woman and a hot rock star can find a way to be a couple in the glare of the spotlight in Rock Addiction.  Molly and Fox had very different experiences with the type of media that follow public figures and attitudes about it.  I loved how both Molly and Fox were true to themselves – tempers, misunderstandings and hot passionate interludes – as they discovered the love that came out of their initial lust.  I also loved how real each of the band members and their issues were as Molly and Fox came together.  It seemed to me that just about everything was thrown at Molly and Fox in an attempt to tear them apart.  The best part was that every issue seemed to bring them closer and closer together.  The one thing you can’t miss and seals the deal is how both Molly and Fox found a way to overcome huge issues in their pasts just by talking and loving each other.  Rock Addiction is a fun, hot and an exciting beginning to a new series with Molly and Fox’s story the best starting point.  One of the best rock band stories I have read in a long time – in that it doesn’t hide the hard things and still finds a way to bring that awesome ending that romance readers long for.

There were two side stories that I’m hoping will become stories so I can see the entire journey on how and if these characters get together.  Another great sign that a new series is going to be a hit – hitting the author’s coming soon page to see when the next books are out right after finishing the first book.  Rock Addiction is a keeper from the first word until the last one, with so many things in between that will stay in your mind long after that last page is turned and it’s also a book that I Joyfully Recommend.
