Calder loves Galway, but one local seems determined to drive her crazy. Every female cat shifter worth her whiskers knows it's the chase that leads to the best mates. But Calder's not certain she wants to be caught. Roark's been told love is grand, love is all a man needs to find happiness. Personally he'd rather live his immortal life as a pleasure-seeking, trouble-stirring leprechaun. He's doing just that until fate steps in and everything changes. Calder and Roark are helpless to the desires of their hearts and the passionate needs of their bodies. Because once a male fae and a female lion shifter sense their mates, they can't keep their hands, or paws, off each other. Now neither can wait to get lucky in Galway. A Romantica(r) paranormal erotic romance from Ellora's Ca

Calder Douget is a Louisianan lion shifter who now finds herself in Galway, Ireland.  While she really loves Galway, Calder is still not quite sure how she allowed her aunt to talk her into coming and just what it is she is supposed to find in Galway.  One evening Calder walks into the town pub looking for a fun night and finds exactly what her aunt sent her looking for – her fated mate.

Roark is a leprechaun from the House of Luna who has come to Galway along with his house brownie, Nob.  Roark is just hoping for a relaxing and fun time in the town, maybe he might even find a woman to hook up with for some intimate relaxing fun.  That all changes one night in the pub when Roark comes face to face with Calder – his fated mate and knows that life as he has known it is over or is it?  Roark is doubly shocked – first to finally meet his mate and secondly to realize she is an American shape shifter.

Calder isn’t positive that Roark is her mate and decides a little investigation is necessary.  That investigation turns into one erotic night that proves to both Calder and Roark that they really are mates.  However, just because fate has made you mates does not mean that life suddenly turns all loving and problems just disappear.  For Calder and Roark, the fact that they are mates only sets off a clash of personalities that might just tear them apart before their mating is even finished.  Can a self-indulgent leprechaun and a strong-minded lion shifter find a way to overcome hurtles that arise between them in time to share the future that is just waiting for them?

One sleepy little town in Ireland brings two mates together in an erotic night but that mating can only work if they can learn to trust and love each other and their differences.  Calder and Roark meet, mate and learn the truth about passion and love in Getting Lucky in Galway.  To say that the road was rocky when Calder and Roark met just doesn’t cover it.  Calder just doesn’t know what to make of the fun loving mate that fate has thrown her way.  Roark just assumed that mating with Calder wouldn’t do much more than add his mate to his life as it is.  I truly had to laugh as I watched the tables be turned on Roark and Calder in turn and loved it when I realized just how Calder and Roark came to meet in that small Irish town.  By the time Calder and Roark finally found the path that had been just waiting for them, I found that both had grown in a way that would only strengthen their mating and love.  Getting Lucky in Galway takes erotic passion and the many potholes that can happen when two mates meet and proves that overcoming all the obstacles can lead to the brightest and loving of futures.
