Anna Kincaid has escaped a serious health issue and because she never knows when something might change that, she has decided to live life at full strength ahead.  So, she opened an eco-adventure company to give others the same thrills she is looking for.  Anna loves her job and company, but she also is still striving forward in accomplishing her personal bucket list.  One of those items brings her up close and very personal with one of the sexy O’Neill brothers from Ireland.

Brady O’Neill is the second oldest of the five brothers.  Brady is the only brother who has been married and lost it all.  He made the decision to move to California and help his oldest brother with a new restaurant as one of the co-owners.  Brady believes that he is ready to move on, but is he really ready to accept the chance at loving and losing yet again?  That question becomes front and center when he meets Anna in a way that brings his passions alive again.

Anna wants Brady and her to go at a rushing speed, while Brady wants to slow things down when he learns exactly what she wants.  Brady discovers that he buried an important part of his life when he married, and Anna is torn between jumping in with no holds barred and taking the time to get it all right.  Brady watched as reckless risks harmed his family’s restaurant in Ireland and, because of that, he points out things that might have the same risks in Anna’s business.  Anna continues to wonder about her push and pull relationship with Brady when the health threat from her past rears its ugly head again.  As Anna and Brady learn more about each other, secrets and misunderstands might just be able to tear them apart.  Both Anna and Brady discover just how important trust is when beginning a serious relationship as the secrets are revealed and the misunderstandings are resolved.  Anna and Brady are finally ready to go forward, hand in hand, towards their future filled with the passion for adventure and each other with their eyes open.  Their future is looking brighter than ever, and so is their love.

A woman racing toward the next adventure and a man trying to find a way to go forward again discover the true meaning of love and trust in I’m Gonna Love You.  I had to laugh at the way Anna and Brady met and was a bit surprised at the rush of that evening.  I enjoyed watching as Brady showed Anna that the best part of being together is discovering each other.  While I understood the reason behind Anna’s rush in life, I was worried that she might take one risk too many and felt sorry for her when the past came to call.  I loved how Brady not only found the strength he needed to move forward with Anna, but also to show Anna that life was just as good, if not better, when done at a normal pace.  Even with the misunderstandings that can happen during the beginning of a relationship, I quickly came to see that Anna and Brady had something that would not only last, but grow stronger as the years went on.  I’m Gonna Love You is a book about discovering love and taking the steps necessary to keep it strong and growing, even when life throws you a curve ball.  Yet another excellent book in this series.

Lilly Parker is a baker with dreams of having her own place and exploring the world, yet she has never left her small town and the B&B owned by her mother.  That might all change when Lily learns she has been selected the winner of a contest where part of the prize is an internship with a world renowned baker.  Now she just has to find a way to tell her mother that she won a contest that she never told her mother about entering and that she will be leaving, which is much easier said than done.  While Lilly was working on this problem, the B&B gained two new guests, very sexy ones.

Quinn O’Neill is the oldest of the five O’Neill brothers who was once a professional rugby player and who then began working in the family restaurant. Now Quinn is dealing with dual blows:  the death of his mother and losing the family’s restaurant.  While dealing with his mother’s death, Quinn stumbles upon an old journal which tells of her life before she married his father and why they never knew of her family and her past.  After reading it and sharing it with his brothers, Quinn makes the decision to travel to Green Valley and learn about the memories in that journal.

Both Quinn and Lilly have major items on their minds when they meet, yet they can’t really ignore the attraction they feel between them.  As the days go by, Quinn and Lilly get to know each other, and they learn about what the other is dealing with.  Quinn gives Lilly the strength to tell her mother about the contest and that she won it.  Lilly finds a way to let Quinn meet one of his aunts.  Before Lilly finds a way to tell her mother all, she and Quinn are caught in a compromising position and things come out in the heat of the moment.  This also causes a rift between Lilly and Quinn, one that Lilly knows is her fault.  Lilly might be excited about her future, but now she wants to be able to come back home to Quinn and give their love the chance to explore that future together.  Misunderstandings are cleared up, and the O’Neill’s appear to be there to stay in the Valley, but can Lilly and Quinn find a way to get past everything and lay a path for the future of their love?

A son learning of his mother’s youthful past and a woman hoping to change her future come together in time to help each other reach their heart’s desire in What Love Can Do.  I saw that the odds were really against Quinn and Lilly from the very beginning, yet I was rooting for them to find a way for their love to have a chance to grow.  My heart hurt for the O’Neill brothers in several places, yet I knew their strength as a family would hold them good as they worked to learn about their mother and her family.  I loved watching as Lilly and Quinn explored their attraction and the love that it turned into, even with the day to day things that caused several bumps along the way.  What Love Can Do proves that love can survive and prosper even when the past overshadows the present and threatens the future.

Conor O’Neill is the middle of the O’Neill brother, and he is the one who came to the U.S. with his oldest brother to find their mother’s past.  While Conor is ready to stay in California, he is not quite sure of what he wants to do.  All he really knows is that he wants to be by the ocean.  Right now, he has opened up a surfing shop and is giving kids lessons. Conor is the most laid-back of the brothers and rolls with the flow, as it were.  So he rolled when a woman interrupted one of his surfing lessons with demands that they move to another area of the beach while pictures were taken.

Madlyn Sanchez is a wedding planner with a well-known and high priced firm. She is trying to earn a much owed promotion, so when a group of surfers were disrupting a client’s wedding pictures she went over to take care of it.  She was a bit surprised at how she instantly felt attracted to the sexy Irishman who was leading the lessons.  Little did she know that that encounter would change her life.

Conor was more than ready to learn more about Madlyn, and yet every time they started to get closer, secrets pulled her away.  Determined to convince her to give him a chance to get to know her, Conor follows Madlyn to her home in San Francisco and discovers exactly what she was keeping a secret—a child and a failed married.  Madlyn is torn.  She wants to explore what might be between her and Conor, and yet she also wants to protect her son from upheavals that might emotionally harm him.  When push comes to shove, Madlyn believes in Conor and gives them the chance to explore their attraction to see if it can become the love she has been looking for her entire adult life.  Conor grows to love Madlyn and her son more as each day passes, enough to move to San Francisco, and with the support of Madlyn, he might have discovered a profession that he can build and grow with. The future is looking bright for all parties as the holidays arrive, and Conor and Madlyn are looking forward to what the New Year will bring as their love, trust, and strength for each other grows.

A man looking for his way in life who lives by the sea meets a professionally driven woman and the outcome is a strong love in The Way Love Goes.  Conor was still looking for his future way when he met Madlyn who knew what she wanted professionally and yet still yearned for what she has never found personally.  I wondered if all would be lost when Conor figured out the truth of Madlyn’s secrets before she had the strength of trust to tell him about her son and living arrangements. I loved how when push came to shove, Madlyn chose Conor and what their love might bring instead of the status quo.  I also loved watching as Conor came to know and love Madlyn’s son.  Watching as they both worked through the many mines that can hamper the journey to forever, I knew by the end that Madlyn and Conor had the type of love that can overcome all obstacles if they work together.  The Way Love Goes begins with simple attraction and grows into a deep and strong love while getting past the many hurdles that can block some couples.  I’m very happy that yet another of the O’Neill brothers has found his pot of gold in California.
