Asher Knight has been trying to fix things with the woman he is obsessed with, Gloria Shields.  For her part, Gloria is just as obsessed with Asher but due to a misunderstanding with a groupie she’s staying as far away as possible. Which isn’t always easy since she’s also his agent.

Now Asher is taking advice from one of Gloria’s closest friend and putting the full court press to win her back. And Gloria wants to be won. Only she can’t quite let herself totally fall, scared that she’ll be devastated if things don’t work. But Asher is determined they be together and willing to fight to make it happen.

Return of the Bad Boy is the second story that I’ve read by Jessica Lemmon and I am just as excited as I was by the first one.  I loved Bringing Home the Bad Boy so much that I almost didn’t want to read Return of the Bad Boy afraid that I would be disappointed. But I am happy to say that I adored Return of the Bad Boy just as much, if not more! You can’t go wrong with this author or this series!!!

Evan Downey has decided to start over. Since the death of his wife, he and his son have been in limbo. Now, he feels like he can move on from the grief and start a new life. Charlotte (Charlie) Harris has supported Evan and his son in every way she could since the death of her best friend, Evan’s wife, Rae. But as they are both moving forward they discover that their feelings for each other have changed into something more than friendship. Can they move past their feelings for the woman they both loved and let themselves find a new love together?

Before I even start let me first say as a rule, I really dislike and avoid books where the heroine is not the hero’s first choice. A book where the hero looks over the heroine for her best friend at first is one that I usually avoid like the flu virus, feeling as though the heroine is the second choice. Bringing Home the Bad Boy caught me totally by surprise. Both Evan and Charlie have to deal with their feelings for Rae along with their feelings for each other. Jessica Lemmon skillfully made me feel Evan and Charlie were meant to be without taking away their love for Rae and making Charlie seem like second choice. Bringing Home the Bad Boy is my first book by Jessica Lemmon but I’ve already put her next title on my “must be read” list!
