Kye Rivers, a magical Deuce Crescent counselor, one with the abilities dealing with sexual energies, has developed a procedure that allows the rare Caido who has fallen in love to be able to experience emotion without pain.  The curse of Caido’s has made them unable to handle any type of emotion without pain.  Kye has worked hard to help those who risked the pain for love, which is a way to bond with their loved one.  It’s not perfect but so far, it’s a Caido’s only hope.

Kasabian, a very unusual Caido, craves emotion and the pain that goes with it; knows that something happened in his childhood that made him this way – a past he can’t remember.  Kasabian might have been okay to live his life wondering what happened, but recently children have begun disappearing again, just like what happened with him.  Kasabian is now desperate to find the missing pieces of his memory and hopefully a clue about who was behind it.  And he knows exactly who to seek to aid him in remembering and even better she is due into his bar anytime.

Kye can’t understand why a Caido would be flirting with her and she isn’t sure about what he is requesting once the entire truth comes out.  Kasabian finally convinces Kye to work her procedure with him, promising not to allow it to go to the ultimate finish – but his secret inner self has its own mind and suddenly Kye and Kasabian are joined.  Kye is so mad she can’t believe that Kasabian broke his word, the only good thing about that night is Kasabian’s memories have returned.  Both Kye and Kasabian are now under the gun to locate the missing children before it’s too late due to what his memories revealed. The big question is why and how far this betrayal of children has gone through the upper ranks of the Hidden.  While attempting the rescue, constant misunderstandings attempt to tear Kye and Kasabian apart.  It’s going to take help from many, many places in order to save the children and defeat the people behind years of selfish manipulating of others – once it’s all over, will Kye and Kasabian find a path that will allow them to explore the passion that brought them together while hunting the missing children?

A magic sexual counselor and a feeling half Angel team up to defeat a foe praying on children and discover a deep love along the way.  Kye and Kasabian should have never been, because Cadio’s are not supposed to feel but Kye learns there are many types of Cadio’s in Angel Seduced.  I knew after reading the first two books in The Hidden series that this last couple of the trio would be unusual but I never expected Kye and Kasabian.  I deeply felt for Kasabian after I learned why he craved emotions and then as he fought to save the missing children from what he went through.  Kye’s heart had me hoping she wouldn’t be hurt too badly while giving everything she had to help Kasabian.  I loved that while the suspense and danger were an important part of the book, there were plenty of parts with humor and passion to even them out.  Now that the foretold three heads have struck, I can’t wait to see what happens next in the world of the Hidden.  Kye and Kasabian proved to me that true love can happen even when it shouldn’t have a chance.  Angel Seduced is quick paced and full of action from the very first page and it doesn’t let up until the last one.  A great way to spend a quiet day relaxing.

Violet Castanega knows that something strange is going on with all the deaths happening to the Dragon clans in the Fringe.  When her brother is killed, Violet knows it’s only a matter of time before the clans go after each other with no holds barred.  Violet bargains for a cooling off time during which she will investigate to see just what clues she can find.  After Violet learns that even more deaths have occurred than even she knew and that clan violence is just simmering below the surface, Violet makes a decision that could make all of the clans never forgive her – going to the Guard for help.

Kade Kavanaugh is a powerful Vega with the Guard and he knows all about how wild the Castanega clan can be – especially Violet.  Yet when she shows up at the Guard headquarters asking for help to solve her brother’s and other clan killings, everyone from his boss down just pass her concerns off.  Kade knows the Fringe history and yet how Violet acts during her visit shows that she can be more than the wild teenager he met years ago.  When Kade is given a new assignment by his boss, he is shocked and then concerned – the assignment is to assassinate Violet and let the resulting clan wars just go.  Something that doesn’t sit will with what the Guard means to Kade.

Violet is wary when Kade shows up at her home saying he is there to help her, but since time isn’t on her side Violet agrees to work with him.  As the hours go on, Kade knows that Violet is nothing like he has been told and his gut tells him that killing her would be wrong and that something else is going on in the Fringe.  Kade is walking down a very narrow line while trying to keep Violet safe and figure out why he was assigned to kill her.  Things get out of hand when passion explodes between Violet and Kade.  Violet is trying to keep Kade safe, the Guard is not well thought of by the Fringe clans, while working with him to keep the clans safe from further killings.  Before the final answers become clear, betrayal, misunderstandings and love will all force Kade and Violet to the limits.  When all is revealed and everyone is safe, will there now be time for Kade and Violet to explore their new found love or has too much gone down to allow for the trust that all love must be bound with?

A jewelry designer with a wild past and a Guard member who follows his gut come together in the most unusual circumstances in Magic Possessed.  Violet and Kade are certainly an odd couple until you look below the surface and see the love that was just waiting for them.  I have to hand it to Violet that I was surprised that she risked everything to go to the Guard with her and her families past.  I was even further shocked when Kade decided to go with his gut feeling instead of his order after all he had to overcome to get his Vega position.  I loved watching as Kade and Violet worked together and put all the clues together to discover the betrayal and past events that all combined together in what was happening to the clans in the Fringe.  The passion that grew between Kade and Violet proved that no matter what their individual pasts were, their future would only be together.  Magic Possessed takes suspense, passion and danger to the ultimate limits while allowing enough breathing space to keep the reader gripped from the first page until the last.

They are the Hidden. Not quite human. Far from normal. And never, ever safe . . . After her father falls victim to a serial kidnapper, cunning Dragon shifter Lyra Slade is determined to rescue him. When she discovers a clue to his disappearance that leads her to a sexy but aloof stranger, she knows she shouldn't trust him to help her, but she's run out of options. Archer Grant, a descendant of fallen angels, is reluctant to aid the beautiful dragon because her evidence implicates his own brother . . . But when his brother also goes missing, Archer must work with Lyra to uncover the truth. But even as a supernatural desire grows between angel and dragon, they are hunted by an evil force. Faced with the deadliest of dark magick, can even love save them?(25,000 words)

Lyra Slade is a dragon shifter who is desperate to figure out what has happened to her father.  He just disappeared and all appearances look as if he was mixed up with a married dragon shifter who has also disappeared.  To top it off, Lyra destroyed what might have been a clue because she was afraid of what it might have said and it ended up breaking up her brother and his girlfriend.  Now Lyra has to find out the truth and what really happened when her father disappeared – even if it’s something she doesn’t want to learn.

Archer Grant is amazed when Lyra shows up and asks for his help.  As the son of a fallen angel, Archer knows that getting involved with Lyra could cause him more pain than not.  But when Archer finds out that this same mystery also involves his brother who is also missing, he agrees to help Lyra, even knowing that the price might be more than he wants to pay.

As Lyra and Archer trace back both her father’s and his brother’s last known steps, it is looking like both disappearances are joined in a bizarre set of facts.  As Lyra and Archer get closer to finding out who is behind these mysteries, they are also getting closer and passion is just lurking waiting for a chance to burst out.  The problem with that is that angels are not allowed to feel anything and the pain when they do is a killing one.  A few stolen moments prove that Lyra and Archer have something between them that could be true love, but neither can figure out a way that they can be together without hurting Archer.  However, during their search to find their loved ones they also discover that the very thing they are hunting for might have a solution for them also – if they can dare to try it.

An angel not allowed to feel is teaming up with a dragon shifter whose feelings are deep and fierce – especially when she loves.  Archer and Lyra find the answer to allow their love in Dragon Rising.  I could tell that Lyra was worried about what she might discover about her father and what he was doing when he disappeared and yet I loved that she went forward to discover the truth anyway.  Archer had my backing because even though he wasn’t supposed to feel, it was his feelings for his brother that allowed him to team up with Lyra.  I really enjoyed watching as Lyra and Archer proved just how good a team they were in finding the clues and the answers that lead to what really happened.  Watching as they fell in love and then separated thinking there was no hope.  I truly loved Archer when he risked everything to grab his only chance at having Lyra forever.  Dragon Rising is full of suspense and passion with slivers of humor which had me rooting for Archer and Lyra beating the odds – and did they ever.  I can’t wait to read the first full book in this series next.
